I would have thought so. Can't see any reason why not as they're virtually the same car but with a different engine but I can't say that they DO for definite.

Hello Everybody,

I'm currently looking for a diesel ST, originally planned on a Ghix X but have now set my sights on a decent ST.

I'm looking for an 05, 06 or 07 but flicking around private and trade ads has left me very confused as to the level of toys that come as standard.

Some sellers list everything from heated seats to handbrake
but then some just say its a car.

Could somebody point me in the right direction as to what these have as standard so that I can start looking at the adverts that don't list everything.

Obviously I would like as many toys as possible for my money.

So far, these are the toys that some sellers list and some don't :-

6 Speed Gearbox
Climate Control (I think this is standard from looking at interior pics)
Heated Front Seats
Cooled Front Seats
Heated Rear Seats
SatNav (I think this is an extra)
Auto Headlights
Auto Wipers
Auto Dimming Mirror
Parking Sensors

Many thanks in advance for any help you can give.

SatNav (I think this is an extra) s you said, an extra
Auto Headlights Standard
Auto Wipers Standard
Auto Dimming Mirror Standard
Parking Sensors Extra

Thanks for this Hoody, nice to see somebody else in the local area, I'm in Gorleston.

As you can imagine, there are not many of these for sale in the area so it's hard to get a comparison.

If I can eliminate the "fiited as standard" toys, I then know how much of a bargain a car 200 miles away might be.

Thanks again.

You could be right with the cooled seats because I've looked at so many different Mondeo's online, the brain is a bit fuddled. Thats why I am trying to work out a definitive "as standard" list.

Sunroof = Not high on my priorities
Xenons = Do these really make a difference ?
Parking sensors and folding mirrors are only wife aids lol

Nice to see such a high spec as standard though, can't wait to find the right one now.

With regards to the SatNav - how do you update these ?

I have an old TomTom unit and to upgrade this its a simple matter of buying a new map and sticking the SD card in the hole.

Is this the same for a built in one or do you have to pay Ford prices for an update ?

Hi Clyde just saying hello. Regarding specs, it is confusing mate. My advice decide on what specs you would like and look for a motor that's suits your choice. Does it have to be an ST?
My requirements were simple, 2.2 TDCI engine, reversing sensors, sunroof, metalic paint, preferably one owner, with some remaining warranty.
My TIT X ticked all the boxes nearly 3 years ago and I've had no complaints. Just be careful with St's in our area there are some high mileage dogs about in local garages!
Good luck.
