Hi,
I am looking at getting a BMC CDA for my Fiesta ST. Was wondering what peoples thoughts are on them and any fitting advice. I am new to owning an ST, had it about a month, so any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, Is it specifically designed for the Fiesta ST or is it a generic BMC filter?

Yes, should be easy to fit/ fit well with the fitting fior the MAF etc

You are probably aware of the advantages of this type of filter - flows more air than the stock filter and as it is shielded does not draw warm air like a K&N would, (which loses power)

Pipercross make a similar enclosed filter (venom)

The MAF should compensate for the extra airflow so it won't run lean, the BMC can be used with remap or Bluefin and a freer- flowing exhaust / sports cat, probably won't make a massive amount more power but can improve throttle response etc and with some other modifications (eg weight saving) can add up
