Probably no fuel in it

Got it in one!  Yep make sure it hasn't run out of fuel before ripping the engine out!  :driving:  :driving:  :}

That's very true LOL but the type of car doesn't matter so long as it's not electric. Come on lads thinking caps on. Remember the car stalls after being driven a short distance. Would you do just the checks mentioned in the joke. Or would you tackle the problem in a slightly different way? Is there something else you should do? Think of yourselves as being RAC or AA patrols. :kaffeetrinker_2:  :banana:  :banana:

I think the EGR is at fault

Very droll Teri I love it. But wrong answer.  :}  :}  :}

Come on mate it's simple. A clue-----you'll never make a RAC or AA man if you don't do this first!  Tee Hee :banana:

Thanks for all your best wishes lads I hope everybody had a good Xmas? I know I haven't been around for ages but I still take an interest in Fords. I've seen one or two ST Mondy's about locally two very nice late ones in "Perforation Blue". They'd make nice keepers. There is no doubt about it we got a lot of car with them. Just about everything on my Beemer was an optional extra, luckily mine was quite well equipped when I bought it. It would have been nice to have had indicators but as we all know few Beemers have them so it's not really necessary. :}  :}  :}  :banana:
