Well done Rick! :L :L
He needs to get that 'Joke thread' updated!
Take care bud. :driving: :driving:

Christ don’t get him started on the jokes. He has had a few years since we last spoke. I bet he has been banking them 🤣

Hi all thanks for you concern lads I'm fine---older and slower but fine..

I haven't been a Ford owner for 51/2 years. I was sad to leave the brand after all the years I owned Fords but I fancied a change and found a nice secondhand Beemer 330D SE. Of course the first thing was to have it slightly breathed on so I got a local tuning firm to do a gentle tweak. It looks bog standard still so doesn't attract much attention, just how I like my motors. I was telling Rick this could be a keeper I can't see me having another change now.

I still look at the Ford tuning mags in smiths and in fact any other mags on tuning but I rarely buy them these days being in my 80's I wouldn't want to be recognized as a boy racer!  :}  :}  :}

I don’t sign into this forum much nowadays, it’s all very quiet.

Thanks for all your best wishes lads I hope everybody had a good Xmas? I know I haven't been around for ages but I still take an interest in Fords. I've seen one or two ST Mondy's about locally two very nice late ones in "Perforation Blue". They'd make nice keepers. There is no doubt about it we got a lot of car with them. Just about everything on my Beemer was an optional extra, luckily mine was quite well equipped when I bought it. It would have been nice to have had indicators but as we all know few Beemers have them so it's not really necessary. :}  :}  :}

Hey all!

Sadly a lot of forums are dying these days, bloody social media (Facebook mainly). I'm as guilty as the rest for not being around, family, work etc. Priorities change. Glad to hear Peterex is still around though, was worried I was going to come across some bad news...

BMW 530D Touring here at the moment, great car, 258bhp, 0-60 in 5.8s.
