what a waste of time and money, keep the chrome, it looks far better than driving around in a hearse!

I like the chrome but I think it's better suited to a lighter metallic colour, mine was silver and I thought it went quite well with it.

It's all about personal taste Rob, it would be a boring planet if we were all the same!

Exactly, and my preference is to keep the chrome, it would be a boring planet, if we all followed your personal taste...vive la difference!!

mine is chrome free thankfully i personally dont like the chrome i think it makes it more sporty looking and aggressive without the chrome, though i do think it suits the silver cars just not darker ones like mine especially as i have dark alloys too

Looks very nice :)
I had chrome handles on my ink blue mk3 but thought they spoiled my black one so have plain black handles now.

I'm having the same issue with tinted windows. I thought they enhanced my blue mondy but lots of black mondies I've seen with black rear window just didn't look right.

My window are tinted but not black 2 shades down from black, looks more like a factory option that way see pic (and i removed the Focus ST badge from the back too)

Thanks for the pic :)
Mine has what Ford called privacy glass when it was made and so the windows are pretty tinted anyway. They aren't much different to how yours look in that pic, but my old mk3 windows were tinted enough so you couldn't see into the back in average daylight.

What doesn't help is that a lot of the black mk3s I've seen with tints fitted have badly done or DIY film and it just looks naff regardless :)
