Hi,

I'm trying to understand why my doors feel 'tinny' on closing. Only takes a little nudge and it's as if you've slammed them shut.

I noticed that this doesn't happen on my older TDCI GHIA... also doors seem to open a little too easily for my liking.

Any idea's

Shaz.

Did your Ghia doors have a bump strip running along them?

If they did that would stiffen the doorskin and deaden the tinny effect to the sound.
You could always remove your door cards and add some anti vibration matting to the insides. The doors will sound a whole lot nicer when shutting.

Hi Guys,

Finally got around to fixing this issue. Straightforward 20 minute job requires Tork driver on a ratchet and a bit of common sense. Swapped the strike plates, and realigned doors. Beautiful door close.
