Might have to cancel selling it now as it looks like the CAT is required for
MOT!

Though the link in the article points to DPFs it seems like they sneaked in a bit about CATs

I think at the moment it's only DPFs.

In the link above it mentions DPFs and DCATs, but anywhere else it just says DPFs. This annoying as i only got 8hrs left for my CAT to sell on ebay :P

Yeah I have read that they basically will look at your car and if they cannot see a cat/dpf then it's classed as a fail. Just means you should fit a decat that looks like a cat and it will be fine

What decat looks like a cat?

Hi

A standard cat with core removed. It may be possible to sell core fragments.

It would be interesting to check performance against a decat pipe. If turbulence within cat is a problem it should be possible to fabricate a tapering liner to smooth out flow.
