As bad as it sounds, I thought he had died a few years back! Is sad though - as he was a genuinely funny bloke... look at his tie!

A real one off. I was reading some comments from people on the BBC web site and lots of people were saying that they were at aiports, functions etc and he came up to folks and started chatting to them. A really friendly guy and it seems that he was never in the papers for any wrongdoing and no-one ever had a bad word to say about him. Many people have a happy persona on stage but are miserable off it but is seems that this guy was happy all the time!

A very sad loss indeed, he was a "cracker"! In my opinion ten times better than the current crop of so called comedians, most of whom I find totally unfunny! RIP Frank. :L

A guy goes into B&Q and says: “I'd like some nails please.” “How long would you like them?” “I want to keep them.” (Frank Carson) RIP

I don't think my wife likes me very much. When I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance. (Frank Carson) RIP

My father fought in World War I single-handedly destroyed the Germans' lines of communication. He ate their pigeon. (Frank Carson) RIP
