I hate DRLs on 99% of cars. They look tacky and CHAV like IMO. I don't see why anyone would want to add them to a MK3 Mondeo ST, but it seems that some people do. So how about this for an idea - If you want lights on all the time and you have the technology pack on your car (autowipers/lights etc) then simply cover the light sensor (by mirror) with a tiny piece of black tape. Then turn your lights to the 'Auto' setting and et voila - DRLs that will come on when you start your car and not look out of place, tacky or censored. And they're free.

And before anyone brings up that this will cause lights to fire twice when you turn the ignition and then when the car starts, all I can say is that for over 3 years and 50K miles the light switch on my car has been glued at auto and I've never changed a bulb in it.

No, I consider football about the least interesting thing ever conceived. Also not Aberdonian. Or miserable. Neither have I done this to my own car. I actually had just seen some absolutely awful looking led fairy lights someone had fitted to their ST by the fogs and was so appalled that someone would spend their time and money on such utter shite I thought I'd post the above hoping that it even one person did this as opposed to the gay fairy lights then it would be worth the typing. Please don't tell me you've got some halfords led strip stuck to your car!!!

I just bought this:
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item68ca0bb77c

The plan is to attach them to the Fogs and place them under the new eyelids i bought, just sticking out a bit.
Ill be running them as DRLs combined with the LED Fogs I already have.

Citroens have 'RUNNING' lights for a reason, Fords have 'Hazzard' lights so as the RAC vans can see them.
