Im thinking of using Angel tuning. They do a gold package which consists of re-map, filter and exhaust for £600. I dont know whether to trust them or not

Help anyone?

Racebits is just too far to travel!

I've spoke to a chap at Angel Tuning (Kilmarnock) and it IS a custom map! (It's technically a tweakable flash map! :L )

not sure i got enough pennys for all that :( as i want to get my lowering springs too, was not going to bother with the full system as the one on the car is perfect at the mo, just want to get rid of the fake tail pipe so should not cost much(I hope), i got a K&N panel filter in, not sure what their filter is but would imagine its just another panel filter

If you are wanting a remap and full exhaust system then thats a real good price

Im tempted to go to angel tuning. Been interested in them a lot. However, I emailed them too and he got back to me with a price of over £900 which like you say, is odd as the website says £600.
I will also point out, i posted a topic like this the other month and this is what I got in reply .........

did have mine booked in 3 weeks ago with angel tuning, i rang to move the map to the following week as i was waitin for my intercooler to arrive, spoke to nigel and he refused point blank to remap my car if i fitted the intercooler!!
started all this blabber about needing a bigger turbo and injectors etc if i was fitting the intercooler..thought sod em n cancelled it.

another guy i knw had his booked in for the same day, and wen they arrived i spoke to the mapper about the refusal to do it, and as soon as i mentioned the name NIGEL, he rolled his eyes!
said the guy dosnt have a clue! .....no sh*t!!
totally put me off angel tuning for good, and since have had 2 friends change their minds too about them.
they use a generic map and thats it, designed for a standard car and not a modified one, he just didnt want to admit that he couldnt tweak it to suit my mods and needs, the mapper said so himself!
had my map done at racebits yesterday and im a happy bunny!

Can't fault my Angel re -map did everything before i got them to re-map, de -cat ,k&n and powerflow cat - back exhaust cost was £275 ,the guy came to my house , very helpfull took about 90 mins to re write the programme ,he then told me to take it out and drive it the same as i did before !! i almost shat myself the extra power & torque was incredible ,well worth the money.
