I think it will be a big seller with the disabaility lot and parents with infants etc. Just hope they get the pricing right as the development costs must have been huge.

I was thinking more of the cost of making it rigid enough to pass the crash tests.

The door catch at the bottom of the door looks so weird!

Has had the following tyres- Michenlin PS3s - Great tyre if a bit pricey, Conti Sport 3's - Alright, Vredstein Ultrac Sessantas - Very good given the price, Toyo T1R - Great in wet, wore too fast, Falken 452s - OK in the dry but horrid and unpredictable in the wet. Best avoided.

I like the S-max but this reminds me too much of that Pug 1007 with the massive electric sliding doors. And it's got the Citroen-style lights from the new Focus. Sorry, but not to my taste.

Is it me or does the styling look even better than the new Focus?

Looks like it might be a decent rival for the Honda Jazz.

What.... an interesting colour to showcase the car in.

I wonder if you can drive it with the back doors open - looks better that way :D

If it did, Ford wouldn't be allowed to sell them in Europe. They'd have to sell them in China.

As the door pillar creates the rigidity of a normal pillar when the doors are closed I would imagine there will be something to stop you from driving it with the doors open.

The Peugeot had one sliding door which I thought makes sense as you can park closer to stuff without banging doors.
I don't see any advantage with this as it has both sliding and conventional doors.
The only thing I can think off is it stops the kids in the back from banging doors, I simply taught my kids to be careful.
I guess it might be beneficial to someone disabled, I can't see where though.
