I completly agree!
The XR2 and XR3 were brilliant but my RS Cosworth was in a whole different league!
Probably helps it was the Homologation Edition!

Bigger turbo but the lag wasn't good. But a monster all the same. You were lucky to own one

Old mate of mine still owns her!
Hidden away in a garage under a cover in almost mint condition, red, 3dr, whaletail, the works!
She's only ever track'd now, always promised he'd sell me her back one day but I know he'll never part with it, I never should have sold him it in the first place!

Probably right. That was 1970 ish when £660 was a fair bit of money to find let alone pay the running costs. You can't even buy a new E type bonnet for that price these days!
