Where is the 300bhp engine going to come from, where is a 4wd system going to come from that will fit a Mondeo chassis.
ST and Tit X Sport are just badges, it could just be that Ford don't feel that ST fits the Mondeo image anymore and neither would RS.
The first three cars you list are purely bought by people who are badge snobs and they wouldn't buy a Ford anyway, no matter how good it was. The numbers sold wouldn't be big enough to warrant the development costs.

Well for what its worth I'm no badge snob I just like the extra power you get from an ST, and Yes this is my 3rd ST first I had the St Mondeo 200, 2nd an 07 plate St Fiesta and now the Focus ST, I can't imagine why if its true Ford are not gonna produce a Mondeo ST.
In my opinion this is a big own goal by ford after all they realised they made a mistake after all these years by introducing the RS Focus after the sad loss of RS Escort and the RS Cosworth, all I can see happening is you will see more BMW M3's, Audi S4's and the like on the road, so come on FORD here's a finger in the eye to you to make you see what a mistake you are gonna make .......

the cars seem to be getting more and more boring in the looks department, whats wrong with designers these days, and as much as i like Evos, Bandit if i had that kind of money it would be the focus RS all day for me as even the Evo looks like they being subtled down if thats the kind of word to use nowadays.

I love the Evos, shame it's only a concept car and we can never buy one.
