1.6 turbo... could be very poky, I'd expect 200bhp out of that tbh.

But Ford are making it so it will be sold with much less. When it comes to power they seem determined to offer less than other hot hatch rivals. The last Fiesta could have been amazing if they had given it a 6th gear and another 30 bhp. I hope this is good though, cause this or the next Focus ST are what I'm thinking of next.

Has had the following tyres- Michenlin PS3s - Great tyre if a bit pricey, Conti Sport 3's - Alright, Vredstein Ultrac Sessantas - Very good given the price, Toyo T1R - Great in wet, wore too fast, Falken 452s - OK in the dry but horrid and unpredictable in the wet. Best avoided.

Totally standard except for Shaun the Sheep airfreshner and only 32K miles from new!

Do we have any evidence of what bhp this will actually have. They are speculating 200BHP but I have no hard figures.

"The previous-generation Fiesta ST delivered only 150bhp, but thanks to the firm’s 1.6-litre direct-injection turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, the new model will pump out at least an extra 50bhp."

Why are car manufacturer's intent on making cars look shouty, angry and sad all t the same time ?

My mate's wife has got some sort of Peugeot and it always makes me smile becuase the front of it looks like a big happy smiley face :D

Revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011, the Ford Fiesta ST here in its show glory bears a 177 bhp, 1.6-litre EcoBoost engine, taking it to 60mph in sub-seven seconds, reaching an estimated top speed of 136 mph. And despite an earthy 240Nm torque, the 6-speed manual gearbox limits the CO2 emissions to as little as 140g/km

I like the look of the fiesta ST any idea of price?
