I have seen a previous topic about ST car mats on the forum however it drifted off onto MPG discussions. So I thought I would ask again if anybody has a source for the official ST car mats.. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated..

not much help, but I asked the question yesterday when collecting my 06 ST, and the dealer advised that you can no longer get these, instead I got a set of plain black "Mondeo" mats.

Hi

It may be worth checking with another Ford dealer to check if definitely no longer available.
Mats with red edging do appear on Ebay and look reasonable quality. You could keep a watch as I have seen sets for sale on there advertised as genuine Ford. They look good in cars with the red stitching.

Hi,
These ain't original Ford mats, but they are very close, they were made by a company called autostyle. I have attached a pic, hopefully you can see it via the attachment, if not, give me a shout via the forum.
Regards

You can still get the red edged mats via Torquesteer. I enquired recently about how much they cost:

I thought the red edged mats we're quite nice; they just lack quality materials

The pink edging's actually quite popular. In fact; we're about do some pink carpet for a a load of Nissan Figaro's...

Weird...

Each to his own though.

Hi all,
Yes I hoped the original Ford mats would be available, but out of 20 dealers I tried, no-one had them. Then my mate who works in a local dealers did some sort of search for them and he didn't find any either, that is not to say they are not available, but it seems they are very, very rare. Just to clear up one issue. The mats I have in my motor are red edged, it is just when the camera flashes (the flash being blue/white) it makes the red look slightly pinkish. If I had had the time to sort it before I posted, I would have. Still it gives a pretty good idea of what is about. I looked at around 20 different types of mats before I purchased the ones from Autostyle. Their mats were the best overall package,(mat material, overall quality, price and delivery time) including how close the logo was, which for me was a major issue. Ebay and other places have got loads of mats, most are rubbish fit and the material they are made from is even worse. There are some which are probably cheaper. The best advert I have found, is everyone who gets in the car comments on the mats, how good they look and where did I get them from. As always, I do my research, as everyone else does, as we all want what is best for our motors. If I find I cannot get what I want in the quality I desire, then I either a) Don't fit what is available, or b) Make the item myself, or c) Get a specialist to make what I require. Just before I go, does anyone have good pics of how the mudflaps fit (Rallyflapz type). I know people have very kindly posted pics before, but none have shown the bit where the flap fits the wheelarch edge. I have pre-fitted them, lining up the holes with the appropriate fitting points, but the flaps don't appear to fit correctly. Now I know the flaps are not everybodies cup of tea, however I have just resprayed the sill extensions and recently had a new rear bumper fitted, so I would like to get the flaps fitted before our wonderfully maintained roads batter the heck out of the paintwork, any help would really be appreciated.
Regards.

btw, the ST mats are a dealer fit option that should be there from new. Mud flaps aren't supposed to be fitted to the ST's-that's why they don't fit, someone did mod them so they did though...........
