Hi All
I'm new here so be kind!
I have today purchased an ST220, 05 plate facelift model with only 38k on the clock, absolutely chuffed!
One question is, the big silver plate around the gearknob and surrounding the seat heating controls etc is very badly scratched.
This pic shows the part I'm referring to:
So, my question is, is it a replaceable part? If so, where can I get a replacement, and can I do it myself?
If not, does anyone know how I might go about trying to touch this up?
Thanks for your help!

Easy so replace. Using the leather round the gear knob pull upwards and it'll just pop out. then when lifted you can uclip the leather gater from the plastic part you want to replace.
The part can be bought from Ford or off ebay or whatever. I have a spare one with one very small scratch but sounds like you're after a perfect one.

Thanks Paul, that's helpful.
Doesn't have to be perfect necessarily, would just like to replace this one as it has a couple of deep, long gouges!
Do you happen to know the part number or name or anything? Thanks!

I can have a look at the number on the bottom of the one I have if I can think where it is. Probably in the garage. Will have a look when I get a chance.

Can the silver surround be put in a 2002 model out of interest??
Thanks
