Hi, every1 i have bought a 07 st tdci with 35000 miles and fsh from arnold clark in april, after having it for a week or 2 i thought it was running a bit rough and smokey from cold start up, so took it back to them, they took it to ford and after alot of phone calls and arguing they changed all 4 injectors and put a new egr valve on it. it still ran like a bag of spanners from cold so i took it back again and they put a new fuel punp and filter on it, then after that it still ran rough from cold so they took the head off and had it skimmed and preasure tested with no faults found.
any way i have the option to get my money back but i really like the car it now drives great apart from the cold starts, will running it like this do any damage to the engine or should i take the money and run?
thanks in advance

If it's arnold clark and they are offering money back i'd take it, run and never dawn their premesis again. Then go to a reputable dealer and buy another. Plenty around so don't take one you think is a bad one. Maybe a bit biased but I have a lot of bad experience with AC and would never go near them.

If the dealers have not fixed the problem and offered money back I would take it.
My dealer will not give me my money back on my car after 6 months of problems.

You did the right thing and gave them a chance to fix it and it still isn't right.
Take the money. Once the warranty is up the problem is yours and 3 months of it have already gone.

Having a few issues with bad paintwork and Ford have said they are having problems matching the paint, so they have put things on hold until someone can advise them how to paint the car (been 4 months now).
Discovered last weekend after seeing several other Focus RS that I have the weather strip missing on the rear hatch.
Seems to be no quality control checks when the car leaves the factory in Germany.
I now have a problem with the nearside driveshaft clicking after only 1600 miles.
I must admit the car is fun to drive when behind the wheel and you ignore the bad build quality.
