Well I've had the car 6 months now, and its not been without issue, but here is the progress...
I collected the car on Jan 25th 2010 with 64,000 on the clock, after trading in my Skoda Fabia vRS:

The Fabia was a great little car, and had been modified slightly to improve performance and road handling, so the Mondeo had a lot to live up to for general pace and fun.
Due to the private plate transfer taking 6 weeks (useless dealer messed it up) i had plenty of time to search the net for common issues and some simple mod's to improve the car.
Before the car had been collected I had a list of goodies for it, including new headlights, LED interior lights, aero wipers and fuel additives/injector cleaner.
Being a keen amateur detailer, and not shy getting under the bonnet with a set of tools, i spent the first week getting the EGR removed and cleaned, and getting the paintwork clayed, sealed and waxed as well as the interior cleaned up.
Over the last few months i have made some minor changes to the car, such as de-badging the STTDCI badge and Mondeo badge, changing all tyres to Toyo Proxes T 1R, improving the headlights and changing the wipers, but overall its standard except for the 5 spoke Zetec S alloys which were an upgrade option the previous owner had from new, and an Alpine Bluetooth headunit after the standard one started to become greedy with my CD's.
The car is now on 70,000 miles and running on Shell Vpower, and i have to admit that its running at its best, so i will continue to spend the extra on Vpower.
Here are a few pics taken a after a quick clean today:

Thanks Neil,
No its not been lowered yet, although i had plans to do it, but my insurance company are being a bit useless when it comes to quotes, so it will have to wait till October when i can change insurance companies.

In some pics it looks higher, and in the flesh it looks too high too, but in these pics it looks ok.
If i can get the Eibach springs for a good price i will lower it a bit.

Do you miss the Fabia? I'm lucky enough to have both. Fabia is good fun but Mondeo better for the longer trips.

I miss the fabia for fun, but the mondeo is more comfortable, but i hate it.
Looking for either another fabia or an Ibiza Cupra TDI.
