Right, used this tool from another topic and tried to find my vehicle. it wont find it, thats odd i thought, so i put in every reg number of every ford that i know from family and friends. They all come up. Then i went onto ebay, and every ford for sale that i tried to put in, the reg came up also. Why will my car not come up, im starting to fear the worst now, you have a go, does your reg go into it and you can see your details?

im not joking, ive now tried 35 cars, all sorts of fords from ebay, every one came up, bt not mine. This isnt looking good is it really. What do you think i should do?

may just of slipped through the net? is your car on a original plate or has it been changed? have you tried putting your VIN number into ETIS to see if that works if it does i wouldnt worry mate

Link works now.
All my recent Fords have been on Etis.
Does not work with my private plate though, have to use original number.

on your windscreen below tax disc passenger side or on your log book, did you check your vin numbers match up when you brought the car mate ?

No i didnt check they matched. I did a HPI check, totally clean. It has a log book with full service history. Going to check the VIN number now, will report back. Everyone cross anything they can possibly cross.

Right, it comes up through the VIN but not the reg. What can that mean? Upon closer inspection of the plates, they dont look normal. The lettering is all raised and bubbled, kind of a wierd film over them aswell?

If you have got the car up with the VIN you should have the reg number displayed on the top right of the page with build date and reg date etc.

no it doesnt when you do it this way round. if you put in the reg, then it will show the VIN number, but not vice versa, just tried it for my old focus.
*EDIT. No your right actually, i put in the VIN of my old focus, and it came up with the reg. Yet when i do it fir the mondeo, no reg is is their with the VIN. What the hell is going on here. Something fishy to me.
