Ha Ha, sorry guys but nothing has happened to the resto for a while.
This is due to me selling my house and not having anywhere to buy yet, so all my rubbish is in boxes and it looks like I'll have to rent somewhere for a while.
I am trying to buy the most beautiful house I have ever seen ( well, in my little eyes anyway) but am having trouble getting the owner to accept his full asking price because he's a greedy bastrd and wants offers above the asking price !
I'll let you all know what transpires in this life of a rock n roll superstar !
off to pub
Jamo
ps. The red one is now 4th overall in the Outlaw Street Drag Racing Series 2010 championship !!!

Sorry chaps, no progress with the resto due to selling my house, and having a long and trying time buying another.
I'm hoping to get stuck back into it in the Autumn, when I've finally moved in, got another business up and running for Mrs Jamo, finished the drag racing championship and maybe sold the red mustang !!!
hectic eh ? however, the good news,
I am currently 2nd in the Outlaw Street Drag Racing Series 2010 !!!
So on target for a trophy of some sort !

It isn't fast mate best ever was 15.7 @ 87mph.
It will run 16.1 16.1 16.1 day in day out and is the perfect, most competitive car for bracket racing, everyone I know are crapping themselves if I do a ET championship next year.
My red mustang has everything sorted running gear wise.
IT JUST LACKS POWER !!! arghhhhh !
Still it is a road going car and racing was only a bit of fun, it gets addictive though, even if it had 500hp I dare say I'd want more, Ultimately I like to just stand and look at it.
Jamo
ps. In fairness the car is 43 and i'm 46, I don't rush about much either !

they are gorgeous to look at i will admit that
i do prefer the 68 cougar that one of my customers has and he keeps on offering it to me buts its popped a head gasket recently
and i know what you mean about being addictive, i went to Meg@pod in the jag and did 10 runs during the day and it got to the point of saying to myself "ok just one more run" lol

I had the chance to buy a 67 cougar, the actual car that Kojak had in the tv series. The guy wanted about £3k and he then sold it to a dealer who then sold it imeadiately for £11k.
Sod's law !!
Some more pics of todays efforts, front Torque boxes welded in and front strut brackets welded. Some sealing and a bit of primer.
