The UK\'s first off-the-shelf sports exhaust system for Ford\'s fantastic ST220 estate has finally arrived, courtesy of JP Exhausts.
The fully-stainless ST220 estate system follows hot on the heels of the respected exhaust manufacturer\'s recently-launched ST220 saloon/hatch system - which are proving so popular that several ST220 owners have already removed systems from other highly-regarded brands in order to fit the JP product.
Like the saloon/hatch system, the high-performance estate exhaust features incredible quality, a purposefully sporty V6 sound and subtle OE-plus styling with discreetly enlarged twin tailpipes.

JP\'s high-specification ST220 estate exhaust has been precision-tuned for superb sound quality and performance. Its twin standard-style 3.5in tailpipes let out a deep growl under hard acceleration yet allow for refined cruising at motorway speeds.
Available to fit Mondeo ST220 (3.0 V6 petrol) estates built from 2002 to 2007, the JP Exhausts cat-back system is engineered from large-bore Grade 304 stainless steel tubing with stainless 8mm flanges. For maximum flow, the ST220 estate system runs twin 2in/50.8mm pipes (aftermarket Mondeo V6 exhausts generally go straight into one pipe) before merging into one 2.5in/63.5mm tube.
From there it splits into a pair of polished stainless steel back boxes, each featuring stylish and discreet OE-plus 3.5in (88.9mm) slash-cut inverted tailpipes.
Expertly manufactured in the UK by well-respected exhaust engineers, the ST220 estate system\'s build quality is nothing short of spectacular. Despite its low price, this exhaust\'s specification features all the hallmarks of a bespoke or motorsport application, including mandrel bends, tube-to-tube merge collectors (individual tubes carefully cut and welded together, rather than basic pressed-steel pieces) for optimum gas flow, top-notch pulse TIG welds, flange joints for easy fitting and removal, plus double-skinned silencers. The purchaser benefits from a full lifetime warranty.
