Done a search (honest) and can't find it anywhere. Also checked the Haynes book and thats not much help

Anyone tell me how you remove the door weatherstrips (chrome insert ones if there's any difference) on my 2006 ST220.

By weather strips, I mean the strips / seals running along the very top of the doors front to back where they meet the side window glass. I need to remove both front and back door strips on the drivers side.

Someone on here is bound to know

Do you mean the ones that seal the door to the body when the door is closed or a seal around the edges of the windows?

They are a right **BEEP** to remove. Why do you need to get them off? They are pushed into clips at the rear quarter glass and then one single clip on the black trim where the doors meet. They simply push onto the top lip of the door where the glass is. Not done a front one but would guess the same.

I think you mean the chrome or rubber strips at the bottom of the side windows.

One of mine (off side rear chrome) is loose at one end. It's got a tab on the back of it that pushes horizontally into a spring clip on the door - or would if half of the tab wasn't missing!

Are these strips easy to replace? Will I need new spring clips? What else am I likely to damage in the process?

the front ones just pull off ,pull to the rear of car as they go slightly under the mirror trims, you will have to be very careful on the rear ones as the clips are so thin as said shouldpise out and up at the quarter window end and then just pull off the door
